Vice President of Sales and Marketing
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading and directing the sales, marketing, reservations and revenue management staff of East West Destination Hospitality’s divisions in Colorado, and providing guidance to its California division. Some of the key responsibilities include recommending to the Executive Committee the annual revenue objective for each division, and assist each division with the development of a Strategic Marketing Plan to achieve its objectives. Work with the Executive Committee to strengthen East West Destination Hospitality’s overall brand positioning and each division’s identity within its market. Monitor guest satisfaction and loyalty survey results - overall as well as by generation, household income and visit frequency. Share this learning and the implications to marketing and operations with each division. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, training and career development of key departmental staff at each division. Serve as a member of East West Destination Hospitality’s Advisory Committee as well as the company’s Cross-marketing Steering Committee.
Start date: ASAP
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in hospitality management, business, or marketing. Ten years business experience, including a minimum of three years combined experience as a lodging company’s director of marketing and/or director of sales and marketing, with responsibility for digital marketing, social media, database marketing/customer relationship management, revenue management and distribution channel management (including OTA’s, Airbnb and private rentals); OR ten years business experience with four years experience working for a digital marketing company serving lodging companies. Experience with Multi-unit hotel/lodging and vacation rental management is desirable.
