Description

Terra Bistro in the Vail Mountain Lodge is hiring for the winter season. Come join a curious culinary team in a fast paced kitchen, where you will learn much about food preparation, cuisine, and technique. The hot appetizer cook is an intermediate level cook position for our nightly dinner service. The core responsibilities for hot line cook are to prepare dishes according to the guidelines, recipes, and standards set forth by the Executive Chef. This is a great position for an intermediate cook who is looking to further advance their craft as a professional cook and further continue their career in culinary arts.

Location: Terra Bistro- Vail Mountain Lodge- Vail, CO

Employment Type: Full Time & Part Time, Seasonal

Schedule: PM Shift. Varies, includes weekends and holidays.

Minimum Requirements

Previous kitchen experience is preferred. Must be able to work well under pressure and be self-motivated. Must have good organizational skills. Good communication skills -- in both written and verbal -- required in English. Requires standing for long periods of time. Requires heavy lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing or approximately 50 pounds and sometimes more.
